Wow, it's been a month since I posted last. Yikes! I have an excuse, I swear, and hope everyone had a great Samhain - I know I did. My school's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream opened on the 6th, and between that and school and work obligations, it's been a little crazy. Here, have a picture:
That's me on the right, playing Puck. (Guess who made the trees, too, among other things.)
When I heard we were doing Midsummer, I first thought "I'm going to have to petition the fairies on this one, aren't I?". I did, and I guess they liked me, because the whole production came off really well even though the rehearsal process was beyond trying sometimes. I also blessed the stage with holy water and kept a pouch of stones with me, all associated with strength in speaking and acting and appropriately charged.
I was excited to learn that a couple of my castmates, all new this year, are Pagan or similarly interested, so I was able to have some good discussions about my beliefs. I love being around people I can connect with, and my theatre friends are that on a multitude of levels.
Welcome
Merry Meet, all. Hummingbird, here. 21-year-old eclectic Pagan and witch who works primarily in crystal, warding, and energy magicks. Asexual, with a wonderful girlfriend. I am just beginning to learn the path of Athena. Attending college with end goal of a degree in Interior Design.
This blog is a digitalized record of my life as a Pagan. It includes spells, charms, notes on the properties of various magickal items, and my own personal experiences with my practice. Sometimes I post multiple times a day, sometimes it's once a month.
All are welcome here. Please, make yourself at home, and let me know if I can help you with anything. )0(
